CHINA RECEIVES “MAPFRE”
Xabi Fernández’s team finished in fourth place after a last intense 30 hours in which there was no time to rest.
“MAPFRE” APPROACHES THE STRAIT OF MALACCA IN SECOND PLACE
After 14 days of racing in leg 3 the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal didn’t give the fleet a break. “MAPFRE” fights in the top group. Ahead of them, less than 2,000 miles until the arrival in Sanya (China)
THE HEAVY FOG WAS THE PROTAGONISTE OF THE START OF THE THIRD LEG OF THE VOLVO OCEAN RACE
The thick fog and light winds spoiled the beginning of the leg last Saturday in Abu Dhabi. Ahead of them, 4670 miles to Sanya (China) where “MAPFRE” hopes to be complete in about 22 or 25 days
