15 degrees North and going South between 16-20 knots of boat speed with an amazing weather… this cannot get much better to be honest. “Easy miles” are the words you can hear on board the most.
We are approaching the Doldrums, apparently tomorrow. They are positioned quite far north around 8 degrees and for the moment it is looking like an ‘easy’ cross (I shouldn’t mention it…) but we are sure there will be plenty of activity and squalls and opportunities so hopefully we can rest a bit today, so we can push tomorrow. As we all know rich get richer after crossing the doldrums, so we will give our 100%.
Good battle with Vestas and Akzonobel last night and we keep having the American/Danish boat 2 miles behind us!
