MAPFRE dominant in Brazil
A new victory for MAPFRE in the In-Port Race Series of the Volvo Ocean Race. On Friday, the Spanish team claimed their third in-port victory so far in the race.
MAPFRE arrive in Brazil and concludes one of the toughest legs in recent years
21 days, 6 hours, 59 minutes and 9 seconds to complete 7900 miles from Auckland to Itajaí. On Sunday 8th April, at 09:59 Spanish time, MAPFRE crossed the finish line in Brazil in fifth place, after one of the toughest legs in memory, through the greatly-respected Southern Ocean.

It is being challenging for all of us to get to Itajai, with all the stress gone is hard to get the days pass but we have no other choice than keep sailing and get there ASAP.
